Estimates are based on the information you give us and may change if property or site conditions differ from what was described.
Work begins only after you and we sign a written contract. The contract describes the scope of work, price, payment schedule, and your cancellation rights under California law, and it controls if it differs from anything on this website.
Scheduled dates and arrival windows are estimates. Weather, material availability, inspections, and utility timelines may cause delays.
You agree to give safe and reasonable access to the property.

3. Property, permits, and approvals

You confirm you own the property or have authority to approve work on it.
Solar and construction projects usually require permits, inspections, and in the case of solar, utility approval. These approvals are decided by the city, county, and utility, and we are not responsible for their decisions or timelines.
Hidden conditions such as roof damage, structural issues, unmarked underground lines, or pre-existing damage can affect a project. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or for conditions that were not disclosed or properly marked. Where required, underground utility locates will be requested before digging.

4. Estimates of system performance

Any figures we give you about energy production, bill savings, or payback are estimates based on assumptions such as weather, shading, equipment, and utility rates. They are not guarantees, and actual results will vary.

5. Payment

Payment terms are stated in your contract or invoice.
Unpaid balances may be subject to late fees and collection costs as permitted by law.
We may pause or decline further work on accounts with past-due balances.

6. Warranty

Any warranty on our workmanship or on equipment will be stated in your contract. Equipment manufacturers may provide their own warranties, which are separate from ours. Unless stated in your contract, services are provided “as is.” Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, vandalism, third-party work, or acts of nature.

7. Text messaging program

Program: URBAN DESIGN, RENOVATION & CONSTRUCTION service and promotional text messages.

Message types: Service messages (appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, project updates, and reminders) and, for customers who opt in, promotional messages (offers, promotions, and announcements). Messages may be sent using an automated system.
Opt-in: By giving us your mobile number and expressly agreeing to receive text messages from us, such as by checking the consent box in our website chat or on one of our forms, you consent to receive recurring promotional text messages at that number. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you do not have to agree to receive texts to buy goods or services from us.
